can i rinse with salt water right after getting my braces on?

I wouldn't see why not ---- I did within a couple hours....and do atleast once a day !!!

Yep you can rinse with salt water as soon as you like, and it's a good idea to do so. It will help toughen your mouth. If you have any sore spots coming, put some wax on too.

something it seems I have to start! when is it best to use a salt rinse?
