impact of a delay in adjustment?

#1 Post by consideringbracesDC »

i was scheduled for my first adjustment tomorrow am. my ortho's office called. more than likely, due to east coast snow storm, they will cancel my appt. the next free appt is not for 2 wks. My braces were put on dec. 18. what kind of impact will a two wk delay in adjustment cause?

Shouldn't be a problem. Especially since it's your ortho's office that's rescheduling, so they know about it. Your teeth will probably keep on moving with that first archwire.
