So, the big day is 15 days off and its finally sunk in enough for me to wonder what life will be like after braces. I know i am getting an Essex retainer afterwards but my question is what is it like to have a retainer in your mouth. My ortho said that I would wear them 24 hours for about 3 months, then slowly reduce that down. How easily do they stain? How noticeable are they? So anyone who's had their retainer for a while help me out. Thanks.
