Well, it seems as though naked teeth are (*knocking on wood*) in my not-too-distant future, but I've been checking out my slightly-off bottom midline lately and wondering how that might be fixed without throwing other (probably more important) things off kilter.
I read through some pertinent threads, and found a post (January 07) by KK that particularly put my mind at ease. 2xK, I've taken the liberty of doing a little cut n' paste of your words in the hope that others may find them as reassuring as I did. (I figured you wouldn't mind.)
A bit about midlines ... or rather research I've done (here, other websites and with my ortho ... this is not referenced for that reason ... sorry!) ... It's more important to have your bite correct than to have midlines meeting top and bottom. When they do meet top and bottom, often this will 'throw' your lips off, as they may be off centre and making them meet, will make your lips meet off centre.
If you were to ask the majority of people where on the body a midline was, they wouldn't know. The midline is like a secret society handshake for people with braces!
Most people do not show both top and bottom teeth biting together when smiling naturally. So when will your midline show?
I guess the moral of the story here is "Don't sweat the small stuff."

Well Said!! I couldn't have said it better!!!
Thanks for posting Lillers! I'm sure your post will put lots of people at ease. I don't have a problem with my midline but just to let everyone know that before I found this site I didn't even know what a midline was!! It's not something I really pay attention too...didn't know people actually had problems with it. I'm sure I've known and met lots of people who have their teeth misaligned but I never pay much attention to stuff like that and I'm sure most people don't.
