Does anyone else feel like rocks were glued to your teeth???

Just got the Damons on yesterday. Now THIS is going to take some getting used to! I had slight discomfort yesterday, but this morning I have a great deal of pressure, which I expected - after all, we're trying to move these teeth. The bad thing is that it just won't let up, and in fact it is getting more intense.
The dentist also glued these bite blocks on the back of my front teeth, so my back teeth don't touch at all, which makes eating VERY tricky. I have to mash the food with my tongue on the roof of my mouth. Yesterday I had peas flying out of my mouth and I was drooling. Think I need more practice before I go out for mashed potatoes on Mother's Day!!
Something else I noticed, and I'm very curious to see if anyone else has experienced this, but I feel occasional little spontaneous "clicks" with my teeth, as if they are moving. I am not imagining this; it happens when I'm not even thinking about it. Has this happened to any one of you? Thought it was strange.
Something I did to get me through this and act as a constant reminder of why I'm doing this - I found pics of women with beautiful smiles and taped them on my office walls, so I can look at them and remind myself why I am putting myself through this. It will all be worth it in the end...It will all be worth it in the end...That's my new mantra!!
