Dumb tech

When i had bottom brackets put on,i had a tech who was new.The other tech told her to put this stuff on my teeth and wait 4 minutes before rinsing it off.She waited like a minute and a half and started rinsing it off.The other tech told her it wasnt 4 minutes yet and she said by my watch it was.OMG am i in trouble or what?
