About this " anklosed tooth " problem

All these posts pulled up about teeth fused to the bone have got me worried now. Seems its not sure a rare thing.
So uts got me thinking about my canines. My right canine came down into place so easily but the left is still up pretty high. They both started at the same distance from the rest of the group so im wondering why one came down so easily and one is taking its sweet time.
What is worrysome is that the one that hasnt come down is in the set of 4 teeth where my bite originally was hitting, which caused the prior jaw pain and headaches, as well bweing a part of the same group of 4 where one had to be root canelled.
In general, its just a problem area, I even had an abcess on of those teeth as well that had to be drained. Ohh and also the dentist said the root on that tooth is twice as long as the rest of my teeth, and in general, my roots are longer than average
So, im a little concerned about the tooth that hasnt come down yet. does anyone know if evidence of past trauma, or abnormal bite on the tooth or abcess or root canal or long roots anythning of that sort ever been proposed as a cause for said " anklosed " tooth issue?
What are the proposed causes of why it happens?
I guess ill know after my next adjustment if this tooth is going to fall into place. With my next tightening, thier should be no reason for it to not fully move into place. Its opposite is right in line now, so if it doesnt move next adjustment im going to be concerned.
