Almost finished this journey, and despite having both an overbite and an overjet, I never knew the difference between these two. Thanks for clearing it up!
I didn't hear of an overjet, and I thought the overbite was the horizontal measurement.
I have my next appointment on 14th August, I'll be quizzing the ortho.
I knew that I had an overjet all my life, but I noticed that I have overbite only when I made some internet studies due to my lower teeth pressing my uppers. I guess general public only knows overjet, which usually means to them " a rabbit" look with protruding upper central incissors.
