Getting braces on tomorrow

#1 Post by mulongostar »

Hi everyone,
First time posting. It's been a crazy week for me and I'm getting my braces on tomorrow. This website has been very insightful. I will be going out to the store(s) later on in preparation for my "big day" tomorrow.
This might be the most redundant question on this site but please bear with me. What are the essentials I need to get on my trip to the store, to maintain proper oral hygiene? I don't know what my ortho will provide me with so I want to stock up on the essentials. I've read about some special floss and threaders...just to mention a few. Is there anyone that can guide me on what I need to be looking for while shopping? I've already printed a copy of KK's daily regimen....so that should be a good start.
My appointment is tomorrow at 10am. Wish me luck.
Thanks guys.

I've followed KK's advice and had no problems. Have a great day tomorrow, and if you end up feeling like geez, how did they put so much scrapmetal in my mouth...we all felt that way at first. And it does get better. Good luck!
