I went for my September adjustment today and I finally got rubberbands, arugh, the pain!
I'm a bit confused though, I could swear my ortho told me only to change them once a day. To take them off when I eat and put the same ones back on, but everything I'm reading has said they should be changed everytime you eat, so did I misunderstand him??
Either way every month I am reassured that I made the best decision of my life getting braces, if it didn't take a billion years of school I'd even love to become an orthodontist, how wonderful to change people's lives forever.
Here are some progress pics

I've had braces for about 14 months now, and got rubber bands about 2 months ago.
Today I asked them how often I should change and they made it sound like every time I take them out I should use new bands, which is what I have been doing. They stressed not to keep them in very long, since the elasticity will wear out, and they get plaque on them if you eat with them in (which I don't).
