FINALLY!

#1 Post by Zameera »

FINALLY after over a year, we've started the first step to beautiful teeth! This morning, we went to the ortho again. She took photographs of my teeth & face. After a discussion, I just got 6 separators between my molars. Tomorrow, the bands will be removed & metal band will be fitted and impression will be taken. And then, separators will be fitted again for another 2 weeks. I hope it'll not hurt. My twin's 2 premolars will be pulled tomorrow. Ouch! Does it REALLY hurt? Anyway, the next Monday, another 2 premolars will be extracted. Good luck, sis! Oh, I'll be getting RPE & my sis will be getting braces next week on Friday!

Zameera, first of all, congrats and welcome to our little but very cool metal mouth club!

Secondly, I just wanted to say how awesome it must be to have your TWIN sister, going through the treatment at the same time as you! It should definately be fun for you two, because you can be there side by side, helping each other out, emotionally and physically all through the process.

Congrats again to you and your twinie! And bring her in here too! :D
