Hooks

How many do you have?
I have 12; one on each canine and one on each molar.
Not sure why I have so many; my Ortho must have something evil planned...

I think 8-12 may be pretty standard and come as part of the brackets. I have 12 at present but 4 of them are on the wire. Your ortho may not have evil plans but then again he/she might....

Well I know I have at least 2. I don't know if I have any on my buccal tubes, but I don't have my bottoms on yet ( 2ish months away). I know I'll need elastics to move my jaws so they'll certianly be some on the bottoms!

I have only 2. Bottom teeth only. One on each canine.
I don't know if I will need rubberbands/elastics at all.
Probably they are standard.
Do I need to floss under them???

I have quite a few too. I just counted and it's 13 in fact. I already have an elastic and I'm pretty sure I'll have more. It's pretty exciting for me though cos I really want my teeth to look nice and be straight. Your teeth look pretty good already.

I have 28 teeth, all with either a bracket, band, or molar tube. The only teeth without a hook are my upper centrals and my lower front four teeth. The rest have have a hook built into the band/bracket/tube for a total of 22 hooks. I have two different triangle elastic configurations. One for the daytime and one for nighttime. Between these two configurations, eight of the hooks are being used.
I also just noticed that I have a lot of tubes. My second molars have single tubes. My upper first molar bands have three tubes each, and my lower first molar bands have two tubes each for a total of 14 tubes.

All my bands (6) have hooks and the brackets on my lower 2nd molars also have hooks. My other brackets don't have them, but my ortho crimped hooks onto the archwire for my class II elastics, so at the moment i have 10 hooks.
