Elastics That Have Goofy Names.... Ugh!
I've been happily braced since 10/24/05. I have worn elastics for some time now. I'm drawing a blank on exactly how long!
Does everyone else in elastics have to ask for them by SPORT? I went from Basketball elastics to Football. Why can't they have a number or color for the different strengths?? I always joke and ask if the toughest one is Speech and Debate!
I think orthodontic supplies manufacturers need to realize that not all patients are in middle school.

Animals would be so much better than sports! I'd feel much better asking for more tortoise elastics than basketball elastics!!
It's interesting how different offices have different brands with different names. I always get a giggle out of my sports elastics.....
Basketball is 1/4 inch x 4 oz
Football is 3/16 inch x 4 oz
Looks like rhino is the same as basketball?

and also: geochelone elephantopus
lol..
anyway, I agree. Braces are defenetely not only for kids anymore!
acctually in a lot of countries only older teenagers/adults get them, because they have to save up for them. Like in Chile and Montenegro(Kroatia). So yeah, I guess I should move there:P
