NOW THAT MY GAP CLOSED IN TWO DAYS WITH POWER CHAINS,WHY DO I have to wait 7 weeks to go back? will they remove power chains then? i really like using a colored power chain since i have self ligating brackets and cant use the colored o rings?
You could try to convinve your orthodontist to see you more often. I persuade my orthodontist to schedule my visits as close together as possible. I've had two of the strongest powerchains stacked on top of each other across my lower teeth to get the gap closed. Military orthodontists sure can be creative.
You have to wait 7 weeks so that the teeth can "learn" their new poitions, if that powerchain was removed all progress would be lost, and the gap would open back up.
