Well, its been a while. I've had my braces for over 5 months now and in that time have had 3 adjustments. My ortho on monday when i went in for my 3rd adjustment decided to step up the treatment...so as well as the elastics I've had since the beginning of treatment to correct my bite, i now have 2 sets of elastics (2 on top horizontal and 2 on bottom the same) that are closing my extraction gaps (or attempting too). All my teeth are fine like they usually are after a couple of days of soreness after adjustments however my back molars (the ones where the metal is wrapped around your back tooth like an anchor) are horribly giving me torture. I cant eat anything but soft food! (its because the elastics are pulling on that tooth to move)
Anyone wiht extraction gaps that are closing or have had them close..tell me it gets better, cos im in a lot of pain with a total of 6 elastics in my mouth!
