1st Adjustment Last Week

#1 Post by motormouth »

It's been a while since I posted my progress. Went in for my 1st adjustment last week. Had my uppers put on in September and lowers in October.

During the appt, I got all new wires and powerchains on the front 4 upper teeth. I see the small gap I had between the first 2 uppers close, but now I'm waiting patiently for the 4 to align. Pretty good so far.

I'm wearing elastic bands as well and my bite is crazy. I was eating normally but after the adjustment, my bite is off again. Plus my back molar is killing me. I'll have to call the ortho about this.

Was warned that at my next adjustment in March, I should take some pain relief medicine since they are putting powerchains on my lowers. I'm expecting to cry, wince, and cuss everyone out.

Any suggestions??

I'm losing weight due to the fact my diet has changed, so now I have to hit the gym to tone up. It's quite funny. Everyone has noticed my weight loss and a change in my profile and face. I tell them to get braces, it's the best diet in the world.
