Can anyone advise what they think of the HX6731/02 ???

Also where would i buy the brushes for this model ?

sonicare is the best but i have been using oral b which is great too!

I had a sonicare 9500, but I didn't get on with it and went back to using my oral-B. I didn't find it did a good job of cleaning my teeth and they started to look dirty. Also the replacement heads cost a bomb

You can buy replacement brush heads in major chemists, Amazon, online dental shops and ebay (be careful of fakes on ebay).

My orthodontist gives all his patients the Sonicare FlexCare R910. I like it, but have a couple of issues with it. First it turns it self off after 2 minutes, so I have to turn it back on one or two times. Secondly, it has fancy "modes" that I think are kind of silly and complicate things. And thirdly, I don't like the position of the mode buttons because I find that I inadvertently change the mode while I'm brushing just in the way I grip the brush.

And as someone already mentioned, the heads are expensive.

I have the elite9000 series and I love it. I agree that the brush heads are a bit pricey but it says to change them every 6 months, not 3. I like the elite series but have been a big fan of Sonicare for nearly 10 years. I am used to the timer so I guess it doesn't bother me turning it on and off, especially since I'm turning it on and off anyhow to spit out some of the liquids in my mouth before I dribble it all over the place.

FYI - I had my first Sonicare for 8 years or so before the battery finally died. I am currently on my second one and still love it. I bought one of those Crest Spinbrushes for travel, but I think it was just a waste of money because it doesn't brush well with braces. I just end up going back and using my oral-b ortho cut travel brush from my purse.

I have the sonicare elite toothbrush and i think its great , i use to have the oral b battery toothbrush but the sonicare wins hands down , my teeth have never felt so clean. takes a bit of getting use the feel of it , kept making my laugh at first , made a right mess

Have the Oral B Triumph because of the great choice of brush heads. Am using the sensitive head right now, and boy, are my teeth clean!!

Works fabulously.

i bought it got the heads 15 pounds for three and its brilliant has three settings clean, sensative and clean and white.

I must say, my Sonicare is really great, even after 6 years. Try to catch a sale at the bigger stores or use the general 20% discount coupon to take the edge off the pricey replacement heads. I agree with all - Sonicare is worth it, but thanks for the heads up on Oral-B.

I used to work at Bed Bath & Beyond where we sold Sonicare toothbrushes. I used to use the Sonicare Advance and then went to the Sonicare Inteliclean (the one with the toothpaste in it). I love it. I'm afraid to switch toothbrushes. The heads for the Inteliclean and the Sonicare Elites are small enough and from the video that we had playing next to our Sonicare Display, the Orhodontist they interviewed, says that they're the only way to go. Plus if you go to Bed Bath & Beyond go in with one of he handy 20% coupons (expired or current) and it will save you some $$$$ on them. I'm trying to get my hubby to switch from his Oral B electric toothbrush to a Sonicare. Even if you travel with your Sonicare Toothbrush, it holds charge for a good amount of time, so you won't need to bring your charger with you.

I use the Sonicare toothbrush and I love it. I can't tell you exactly what model it is, but it isn't one of the more expensive ones. I paid around $30 for it. It keeps my brackets and teeth really clean. I even read on the package that it was "ideal for braces". Which is why I decided to buy it when I knew I was going to be getting braces.

Can someone help me figure out which Sonicare brush to use? I don't understand the differences between the many different lines, let alone the individual brushes within each, and when I go to the SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM Web site to compare brushes, they make it very confusing, e.g. 1 model has 1 kind of a gauge and another model has a different kind of gauge, with no explanation about the differences, which doesn't help much.

Also, does anyone know about discount coupons?

I strongly recommend getting one from ebay.
They go for pretty good prices over there.
I've just bought a elite 7300 from there, should be coming by next week, i can't wait!!
