Consult today at 11

I am going to my consult today. I had molds and x-rays taken last week. I am hoping I get braced today but a part of me thinks it won't be today. I am so anxious. I think I might not go through with it if it's not done today.

Just got back. I will have porcelain uppers on the top 6 front teeth and metal on the reast for about 4 months and then my lowers (metal) will be put on. Total cost is $5,400 for everything plus 1 retainer and 2 years of checkups. He will put the top ones in on Wednesday. He said what they do it make the braces on my mold and then slip them on my teeth. Sounds a lot different than what I have heard and read.

Congratulations on going through with it. The method you described is called indirect bonding, by the way.
