the free Waterpik in my kitchen

For the past couple of days I've been using the kitchen sink faucet spray thing (the kind that pulls out on its cord and you press the lever...it's Moen brand) as my makeshift Waterpik. It works wonders in blasting the food out from my grills :D And best of all, it's freeeee! Anyone else tried this? Haha, my flatmate thinks I'm so ghetto.

I don't mean to be critical :) .............but :yuck: !! Hopefully you will get a real waterpik soon.

Surely it's messy?

Not at all. You look down into the sink, smile real big and just spray it around on your teeth on low-to-medium blast and all the food is gone from the grills! Water falls right back into the sink.

MsViola, I can't afford a Waterpik as I'm a very poor student. However, if someone were to give me one as a gift, that would be pretty nice.

Careful with your makeshift waterpik, the waterpik wasn't meant to be pointed directly into your gums. It says so in the Waterpik manual. I actually used an irrigation syringe from the OS after my extractions until I got my waterpik. That was because I could control where the water was going and how hard the flow was.

LMAO

Thanks for the laugh. I used to be a poor college student so I can sympathize with you. Send me your address and I will send you a couple bucks to go towards getting yourself a Waterpik.

Hopefully a few more people can donate and you can get a real one!

 Thanks for the offer to start a waterpik fund. However, it's spring break and I will be going home to visit the family later this week -- and guess what? My mum offered to buy me a Waterpik!
