big news!

#1 Post by class3citizen »

Hey all,

I had my second consult after getting braces (twin block + expander), and was expecting another tightening. Instead, I got great news: I don't need to expand anymore! Better still, because my insurance covers it, I am going to get a new twin block next week without the expander. My ortho says I will find it a lot more comfortable because it will have less plastic on the top.

So I had molds again (yuck) and am now waiting for my new braces. I am excited, but also very nervous, because this of course means I will soon be getting the facemask, which I really dread...

I'll keep you posted!
