Hello Bracedin08 here! Officially a newbie. I've been lurking this board for a long time now. A little bit about me: I've wanted braces since I was 10 years old, I have never been estatic about my smile. I have a gap that has become narrower over the years. But as we all know money nor braces grows on trees, so I've been forced to wait. I watched everyone I know have braces and all my friends have had braces before, so it's so overdue!

Now, I've taken it upon myself to pay for and initiate my treatment.
Just got my spacers in today only three on the bottom teeth because my teeth are so close together

So anyways, I'm getting braced on the 4th and I'm SOOOOO excited. I have 2 years in 3M metal braces and I can't wait to get it started!!!!

Welcome Bracedin08! I think most of us in here can relate with the waiting and watching all your friends get braces and pretty smiles. I have had my braces since July '07, so still in the middle of things. If you've been lurking a while then you probably already know that this board is a great source of info and advice to make your experience as good as it can be. Glad you found Archwired and good luck for your b-day!
