Just got a powerchain a few days ago and I noticed a quick change within the next day of getting it. My question is ..

DO u notice your results just after you get your braces tightened or do you keep seeing results even when your teeth arent sore?????????

Powerchains lose some of their stretch quite quickly, but they still continue to move your teeth, even after the soreness has worn off.
I can see there's been some movement on those gaps. Your teeth look great.

I got my first powerchain about 2 weeks ago and I noticed immediate change, but now the changes seem to have stopped. The powerchain has slightly "lightened" in color too. The soreness was gone almost immediately though  It just didn't really bother me and still doesn't, minus for the larger food traps.

I'm sick of powerchains, I've had powerchains nearly 11 months out of 12. I want one appointment where he says, "normal ligs for you!"

The soreness is associated with getting the teeth moving, once they are moving the soreness weras off but they are still going.

The initail movement is encouraging though, I had my powerchain replaced 2 days ago and I reckon I've seen about 1mm of movment since then!

When I first had my braces fitted my ortho said that there is little connection between the way they feel and how much movement is happening.

My teeth just move whenever the heck they feel like it. In the beginning, I would be super sore from adjustments and then by the time my next adjustment came around, my teeth weren't sore and I had tons of movement. Now, my teeth move the most in the first few days I have a new powerchain installed, then they just sit there until my next adjustment. I'm sure the chains are still working to some degree but lately I've seen the most movement in the beginning of a new chain.
