how long in TADs?

how long in TADs?

For those of you that have worn or are wearing TADs, how long did you have to have them in, or how long are you projected to have them on?

What does TAD stand for? Just curious...

I had two placed 18 months ago and they are still in use, and I had another two placed a couple of months ago.

My ortho said the original two are probably getting near the end of their lifespan and will eventually loosen and fall out if they haven't been removed by then. TAD's are not normally intended to be used longer than a year or so. They don't integrate with the bone the way tooth implants do.
