Somehow I just don't believe it's gonna happen! I was supposed to have them on for 12-15 mos but it's been 2 yrs! The front two teeth were pushed inward in the middle. They have been very stubborn. Anyway, to look at them, they have moved a lot and they look nearly straight. But I can feel that they are still slightly pushed inward with my tongue in the back. The ortho says I will wear a retainer (clear) for six months and they will adjust during that time. Does this sound normal? I just have this nightmare that I will go to get them off and he'll say "oh no, come back in three months and we'll see". :( I just want them off in the worst way!
My teeth look really good from the front, as others on this site have said from pictures, but I can still feel slight imperfections on the back of my teeth with my tongue. Sucks, but I know they look good, plus I'm ready to get them off, so 19 more days for me.
