~*Braces Off Tomorrow...but....*~

#1 Post by CHOIRSPARKLE »

I've had my braces on for 5 years. Some of the reason they've been on for so long is because when I moved from Oil City, PA to Erie, PA, my insurance (Medicaid) I had to keep the same orthodontitst. With the gas prices, its been difficult to get to all appointments. I was wondering, do you think that I should get them removed this Tuesday (like I want to) even though there is still what seems to be an overbite. My teeth are MUCH straighter now, which is great.

P.S., I am afraid I won't be happy with the bottom teeth. They aren't PERFECT straight, just a few small gaps....Should I worry about the bottom so much??? Top teeth are straight, look great to me!!!

it all depends on you
are you going to regret your teeth not being str8 at the bottom later on in life?
If not..get em off.
If so..keep em on..youve had em on for 5 years..might as well get em str8 as possible.
I know I would
I wouldnt want to wear braces five years & still have some crooked teeth at the bottom.

Personally if it were my teeth I would want them to be as straight as possible. I would feel like all that time was wasted on a mediocre job instead of perfection...but that's just me. If it doesn't bother you then go for it.

Retainers may be able to reduce/fix some of the remaining imperfections.
