A little update

Hello
I was braced in October 2006. In March/April 2007 I was given a removable palate expander. I admit I do not wear it as often as I am supposed to because at work they cannot understand what I am saying. I go every 4 to 6 weeks for an adjustment. I had an appointment in 6/2008 but I had to cancel due to my father's passing. I finally got an appointment at the end of August. At this appointment I was re-banded and I read on the little computer screen that my new date for removal was 10/2009. I was supposed to be done next month. I was really bummed, but I realize that if I had worn my expander more then maybe my progress would be greater.
At every appointment my orthro says that my teeth are coming along very well. What teeth are he looking at?
On an up note - the space between my left front tooth and the adjacent tooth has been VERY tight. Last week, I was using a tiny bristle brush to floss and I was able to fit the brush between those teeth. I am so excited, while my progress is slow it is happening.
