Cosmetic Bonding/Crown Lengthening

#1 Post by anthony242 »

My braces are coming off tomorrow, but i still have some gaps in my front teeth because some teeth are too small. So my ortho suggests that I get bonding done.
I went for a consultation at my dentists today, she suggests I get crown lengthening done so that will make my teeth look bigger, and then get veneers put on. I dont like that idea of having my gums scraped off, but what would be better?

Wait and see how your teeth look after debonding!

Before braces my upper front second lateral was overlapping the first lateral. I had a cavity there and the filling did not look good. When having braces a huge gap developed between these teeth. Did not look good: a filling next to a big gap. I was pretty sure I have to get veneers after debonding, BUT the teeth look actually fine and I am not going to get any veneers.
