Back in the day when I first got my braces on, I had this wonderful fleece-like, fuzzy blanket and when I would sleep at night, my braces would rub on that blanket until I had a mouth full of fur. I would wake up in the morning to my mother and sister snickering at me through my door. :lol:

This has been happening to me since I busted out my scarf a month ago. Now that the weather in Chicago has dropped far below frigid, I pull the scarf up over the lower part of my face to trap some of the heat I expel as I breath and keep the wind out out of my face.

Cut to some time later, as I pull thin little threads of wool out of a toothbrush or unwind them from a bracket. Oh, braces...

first off: getting your bracets stuck in carpet sounds amusing, yet slighly embarassing for that person, i feel for that person, who ever that happened to. gotta love braces:
second: I've got my scarf/neck warmer stuck on my bracets before, not so fun, at first, wasn't sure how i was going to get it off but i managed to somehow;
3rd: i seem to have a habit at waking up in the morning and having drool all down my one side of the face that i lay on, drives me up the wall but i gotta live with it, the joys of having braces
4: hair getting stuck in the bracets doesn't sound very fun, feel for you totally!

I've gotten mine stuck in my scarf, and in the cold, my lip stuck to the metal of my braces (it was -25 C before windchill here last week!) and to the inside of my jacket lining.

blindboarder, I've also developed a drooling problem! I woke up to my cell phone ringing this morning and my face literally stuck to my pillow from a puddle of dried up drool. Lovely imagery for you, I know. It was my boss too, calling me in to fill a shift, and I guess I sounded funny because when i got to work she was like "You gonna be okay?" haha
