Hi all!
This is my first time posting but I am a long time reader. I would like to share my pics with you. I got debanded yesterday and will be recieveing my essix retainers tomorrow, which i wear full time for 6 months and night time for 6 months.
Im extremely happy and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND 6 month braces for anyone looking to fix thier front teeth for cosmetic reasons. I didnt not have any bite problems.
My gumline is slightly off, I may be getting my gumline lasered sometime in the future to rectify this.

One way to forget your troubles is to wear a pair of tight stilettos!
I have looked into the six month braces, and they are definitely a contender.
The thought of 18 months in braces sort of scares me.
Do you know what brackets you have?
And also, did you need extractions?
One of my orthos wants to extract 3 of my teeth, so I have decided against this, and I hope, and hope and hope, that I will not need any if I opt for these braces.
No i didnt need any extractions and i had terrible overcrowding! I was told 2 years ago if i wanted traditional braces i would need 2-4 teeth removed which freaked me out. My dentist slightly shaved the sides of my teeth to make room, were taling millimetres here and not painfull at all.
I dont know what brackets I have sorry.

Wow, I am amazed at your results and all in 6 months! It gives me hope that even though I'll have mine on for a lot longer than 6 months, that things will move quickly.
Another WOW from here too. Braces really are miraculous little things. There's no such thing as perfect, but your teeth do look pretty much close to perfection.
They are indeed by no means a "Hollywood smile", they are much better than that. They look beautiful and most importantly natural - something that "Hollywood smiles" often lack of.
