I got my upper brackets (Damon 3mx's) on 2 months ago. Yesterday I got my bottom brackets on and had my first adjustment. I don't remember being this uncomfortable and having this much pressure on my teeth the first time around.
Just out of curiousity and a need to talk to others in the same situation- which set of brackets did you have the most trouble with?
I know if you were braced all at once this doesn't apply, but just wondering if anyone else felt this way.
Ahh, it's definitely one of those days where I wonder what I've done!
But I know soon I'll be back to the days where I manage to forget about them and not mind them!

My tops hurt for the first month or so, no pain since and i am 10 months in.
My bottoms never hurt at all, they've been on for 7 months now. Oddly enough, the bottom's were much more crooked and crowded and have moved a lot faster so figure that would make for more pain but i guess not...
My braces were put on all at once, yesterday (1st day), no problem, but today I have this annoying aching feeling like someone is knocking on my teeth w/ a spoon
I got them all at once, but I could definitely tell that the uppers were hurting more. After wire changes they have been more painful as well, maybe it just depends!
I just got my bottoms on about a week ago and they hurt like hell!
The tops were a breeze, I was a little uncomfortable for a couple of days but it was nothing. I didn't use wax or anything. I was starting to think that this was going to be nothing but I think I spoke too soon LOL.
I got my bottom braces about four months after my top braces and they were much more uncomfortable. The spacers felt worse, the throbbing was worse and the mouth sore were worse. My bottom teeth were also much more out of line than my top teeth so that may have played a part in it. The good news is that the discomfort passed quickly and now that they're off I'm left with straight teeth.
My bottoms hurt more than my tops. At my adjustment today the ortho made the comment that my bottoms were moving better, so I guess the pain is worth it.
