oral surgeon an orthodontist next week

i have an appt with my surgeon on monday an a orthodontist appt on wednesday of next week , i should find out then what the oral surgeon needs to do, an then to see what the orthodontist has to do. i have been braces free since jan 08, guess i'll find out soon what new appliance's i'll be getting an for how long :shock:

i had my oral surgeon appt yesterday , he wants to to surgery on both , the upper an lower jaw , he told me it would take 4 to 6 hours to do an i would be wired shut for about 6 weeks , i have an appt to see my orthodontist tommrow morning at 9 am to see what he needs to do . so by this time tommrow i should know how ,what , when an where, an anthing else wish me luck

I missed your post last week. I'm sorry that you're having to go through this but if your results are like mine, you'll be glad you did. You've gone through the worst of it, with the exception of dealing with insurance, having gotten your teeth in good order. Do you have an anticipated time frame for your surgery?

I wore braces (this time) for 1294 days or 3 years, 6 months and 17 days.

still havn't herd anything from the insurance company yet, my orthodontist isn't realy sure the surgery will fix everything , i see he agian on the 22nd , he has a few things he wants to take about , so i'm in a holding pattern now , like i siad before my insurance out of pocket has been met for the year so i'm praying to get it done before years end ,
