Final adustment soon. Advice needed *Pictures*

Hello all~ I'm going in for my final adjustment in a couple weeks and had some concerns. If you look at my pictures, one side of my lower set of teeth seem to be higher than the other. It's sloping downwards as the wire is going across. For instance, look at my lower cuspids. I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback regarding this matter and anything else you see wrong. Another concern of mine is my lower right cuspid. The root seems to be protruding out and I can always feel it and it's quite distracting. Is there a way to push that cuspid in from the root side only?

please excuse the yellow stains  I LOVE COFFEE~!

I think your teeth look great.

Now if you're feeling some discomfort, then you should definitely tell your ortho about it

and congrats on reaching the home stretch!

Hi there! I see what you are saying....the arch wire does curve down just a bit, but it could be that in a few weeks that will straighten right up!!! Are you still in elastics??

hey thanks for the comments guys~ yup i'm still in elastics. Still in the process of correcting my midline. I forgot what class they are but one of them does loop around the bracket where the higher cuspid is on my lower set of teeth. Could be the cause why that cuspid is higher but hopefully the ortho will fix it... somehow in the remaining 3 weeks after final adjustment :?

Thoughts on the lower right cuspid's root protruding out? Any other opinions or info is greatly appreciated~

oops forgot to add another question. Don't you guys think my upper incisors are lined up at an angle where it's giving it a slanted look?

Preparing my list of concerns and questions :P

I see the slanted archwire on the bottom. I can't see anything with the cuspid root or with the top teeth alignment. You should make a list and ask about all these issues. Worst case, you postpone removal a month or so to make sure you're satisfied with how things are lined up.

Can you try to post bigger more closeup pics where lips are pulled back? One with open mouth, and one closed bite.

yea I can take those pictures. I'll post them up once I get it done. Left my camera at the parents house and have to go retrieve it. I'll make sure to take a picture a few pictures of that cuspid root as well

Just wanted to bump to see if anyone can answer my question regarding moving my lower right cuspid in more from the root side.

Thanks in advance

I would speak to an ortho.

I spoke to him about it once but all he told me was that my final wire is shaped to provide torque to angle the cuspid inward and that should take care of it. Well it did just that, it angled the cuspid and the root feels to be protruding out.

:( My only guess is perhaps angle that specific cuspid "outward" so it looks like it's pointing out of my mouth so it'll incline where the root gets pushed in further back and from there "push" the cuspid as a whole back and then re-angle it so it's pointing up again. Then again i'm no ortho but it's just how I envisioned it should of been moved.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hey guys,

Sorry to bump an old thread but i feel like my ortho really isn't doing anything about my cuspid's root protruding out. I'm now only braced on the lowers due to having the mentioned cuspid "worked" on but the root still seems to be protruding out just as much as it ever has. I know you can't really see it in the pictures, but if you look at the 2nd picture you can see my lower right cuspid protruding out a bit. It's worse than it looks since I can clearly feel it when i'm drinking/eating something. Any suggestions is much appreciated
