Hi everyone!!! the ortho said that at my next adjustment I will be getting bands zig-zagged across my back teeth (I think to pull them out a bit)...

Now he has put some hooks on the top wire (2 on each side in addition to the one that is actually part of my wire) - so I have 6 hooks all up on the top wire. But he hasn't put any on the bottom wire. Am I missing the point here? How do they zigzag them without any on the bottom?

and what exactly is zigzagged wires? Am I going to have a lot of trouble talking with this? They are putting them in on the 22nd of december (merry christmas to me) and I work in retail, so probably the busiest 3 days of the year for me. Is this going to make my life really hard for the first few days?

I anticipate I am licking my christmas lunch.

No idea what they are but can you change your appt till after xmas? they wanted to book my next tightening on the 24th of dec and I changed it till the 28th. I want turkey

Haha, nah I am sure it will be fine. I had my braces put on 12th december last year, so I know what its like. I will deal with it. I will just take the bands out to eat and hope my teeth don't ache
