Possible worries.
Hey there, I was just curious about a couple of things
I've only been in the braces for like a month now, but one of my teeth which was perfectly fine has been pulled out a bit further, and is a little bit more forward than my front tooth next to it.
I know it's only a month gone and not close to the finished result, so i shouldn't maybe worry, but i mentioned it to my Ortho and he replied with something like
"Oh as the wire straightens out it can sometimes do things like that, it's nothing to worry about"
Is that even an answer to my question?
And the wire connected to my 2 back teeth has gone slack and hangs down like a U shape, should I make an appt to fix it or can it wait til my next visit? (Like in about 3 weeks)
Thanks!

Throughout orthodontic treatment there will be more then a few times where you feel things are getting worse and not better. It's weird, I know, but trust me when I say that most people here on the board have a story to tell about this strange orthodontic phenomenon. Hang in there and know that it will all come together in the end.
As for your wire, it may have come out of the bracket, so yes, I'd call your ortho and go in to have them take a look.

I don't know what you mean by a slack wire, but it can't hurt to have it checked out.
As for your teeth moving, yes, they will move in all sorts of crazy ways that don't seem to make sense to you at first.
There is really no such thing as a single tooth in a "good" position in an arch that needs to be changed. That tooth may look fine to you, but who knows where it's supposed to end up in the end. Or even if it is in the right place at first, obviously the teeth around it aren't and it may need to be moved around to help other teeth move first.
All of your teeth are connected now, they don't move one at a time.
Braces seem to always catch people off guard with how stressful and emotional the experience can be. Just relax and remember that thousands of people have had braces for decades, they work, and they will work for you.

I know exactly what you are talking about... my ortho put all these extra wires on one of my front teeth because it was lagging behind the other.
At my next appointment he had to cut them all off and put them on the other because it had over-corrected and was now too far ahead! Slowly they are now aligning, but it does seem a crazy process at times

Ja, i'm a little worried cos it's not like he's put extra work into it.
but it appears to be on both teeth, the ones either side of the front teeth (I don't know their real names
)
But it's like the teeth are being pulled forward from the bottom, but not the top of the tooth?
Kind of like this / and \ instead of | | if that makes sense.

Im only about 3 weeks in, but I have heard alot of people say it gets worse before it gets better. I just noticed a big gap between 2 of my teeth recently..

I know it seems like a scary, flippant answer when it feels like your tooth or teeth are going nuts - but it's true that sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. If I could show you some of the things my teeth have done along the way, LOL.
Obviously, contact your ortho if you're super concerned about something, but it's usually just part of the course of treatment as things shift around.
