I have a tooth that is one that sticks out on the bottom, and it is painful to the touch and feels loose....could it be moving??? What is so strange is that I haven't had my first adjustment yet and this tooth was fine 5 days ago, and it just arbitrarily sstarted to hurt and now I can't even eat solid food again! Does this happen or did I do something wrong??
Hi there - this is perfectly normal. I find that sometimes my teeth will start to ache a couple of days before an adjustment is due, even if they didn't straight after the last adjustment!

Yes, I had that happen (I had traditional adult braces last year at age 53); it didn't last more than probably a week, and then things shifted again. It's part of the process, but you can always call your orthodontist to ask and/or visit.
