Hi, i was just wondering if theres anyone else on here from scotland? i'm still at the pondering stage- have an appointment with my normal dentist on christmas eve for an initial chat about orthodontics. Braces dont seem to be very popular here especially for adults so i know i'll stick out like a sore thumb! (although to be honest dundonians have a bit of a rep for bad teeth anyway and its not unusual to see people that have lost some of their teeth- its only since moving here that i've started paying so much attention to my own!)
Also- i find myself staring at peoples teeth- does anyone else do that? i try not to but that seems to make me do it more!

Hi I'm from Scotland. I'm getting 6 month smile treatment in Glasgow. Not many adults around here with braces but i've seen one or two. Would rather have braces on my teeth than not have teeth

Hey. I'm in Edinburgh and got braces two weeks ago with the eventual aim of having orthognathic surgery. I don't think I've seen another adult with braces outside of the orthodontist's clinic, and I have been stared at once or twice - but then people looked at my dodgy teeth anyway, so the way I see it the funny looks will stop when the braces come off, instead of going on indefinitely.
