My Ortho isn't in and my wire broke..

This is the first time my wire has broken and it only broke on the left side of my mouth so it's really uncomfortable.

I haven't been to the Ortho for a few months due to having get a few teeth pulled.

What should I do?

Should I try jamming the wire back into place?

I just jammed it back in place. It feels awkward though.. But it's not hanging off and annoying anymore.

If its rubbing I would just cover it with lots of wax. Sorry I'm no more help!

try calling the office. I know it's a saturday but my office has an emergency number to talk with an on call assistant and yours probably has one too.

This happens to me rather often.. Just pull the shortest length of wire out of the brackets - use pliers and pull from the back. If there is a sharp bit sticking out from what is left, just cover with a chunk of wax. You're not going to do any harm by pulling the wire out because they are going to have to replace it anyhow..
