It's been a long 2-1/2 years I won't lie. I am SO SO glad I did this journey even though it was for the second time. With the exception of upper jaw surgery this go around. Such a small investment in time for a lifetime of happy smiles I'll be proud to show off and a bite that works!
Here is my bite the day I got the braces put on in Aug 2007
and here is me today 2-1/2 years later and 6 months post op
Excuse the staining, I'm a big coffee drinker and some of the staining in the "after" picture is due to the medical oral rinse I had to use for 2 months after the surgery. It won't brush away and will need to be polished off after everything comes off. I'm excited about getting them off, I'll post another pic then.[/img]
First time in braces, no surgery: 1990
Second time in braces: 08/07
Wisdom teeth plus 1 molar each side total 6 teeth removed: 02/08
Upper Jaw surgery: 09/09
