Gap!

#1 Post by LuckyStrike »

I've had braces for little over a month and my two front teeth were both close together, except for the fact that one of them was slightly pushed forward in comparison to the other, though it was barely noticeable. They seem to be next to each other now but I've noticed a gap has started to form. Is this normal? Is it likely that the gap will get bigger? Was the gap formed so that both front teeth could be perfectly parallel before aligning with each other?

Yes, it's normal. As your arches expand, gaps form. They'll be closed later - probably with power chains.
