I went to orthon today, get the wires changed. She told me I have good oral hygiene and that next month she gonna do more filing of teeth and start to retract the teeth!! And, to my suprise, she mentioned that yeah actually you dont need extraction looking at this, the teeth gonna be straight.

Yes!!! Finally!! After so many consultations with different orthon all asking me to extract 4 healthy teeth, even my current one, and I struggled so hard and insist not too, I'm so glad to hear that!

Best news is, the thing is coming off end of the year!! Wohoo!!!

How are you doing btw? Is your braces coming off soon too?

My ortho had originally said I would be in finishing elastics this month but my teeth shifted and he put me back in class 2 elastics. I have an appointment next week. I am not holding my breath.

That surprise me teeth would shift even if you are wearing braces. How did that happen?

i haven't been here in months but was wondering how you were doing.. i too hope to be out of braces by the year end, or even earlier.

i'd love to see pictures of your teeth! it must be so exciting that they were able to achieve retraction w/the ipr only... that's awesome!!!
