So bout a month since I got my braces on and so far no major issues except my poor gums. I havent been able to use my electric toothbrush for almost 2 weeks now because of cuts on my gums. I am not sure what is causing it and when I asked my ortho they said to make sure I wasnt brushing too hard and use peroxyl to help them heal but I keep getting new cuts. It seems as soon as one heals I get a new one, any suggestions to prevent these?

My mouth gets cut up all the time. When its really bad I do salt water rinses about three times a day. Usually everytime i'm done rinsing my mouth after eating. Also, if its a specific spot you can try putting wax on whatever is causing the cuts.
