Open Bite Worse 2 months In

My open bite has opened even more since I started treatment. The ortho said many people's open bite closes a little with the wire. This will be corrected with elastics next visit. In the meantime I scheduled a visit with a speech pathologist to deal with my tongue thrust. Has anyone else have their open bite become larger? Thanks everyone.

My Open Bite opened further during the teeth alignment. I just started elastics lately and it's now more closed than it has ever been. I would say it's normal and it will be closed with elastics, but you can always ask your Dr. again. :)
