Jack Liu at Godalming Orthodontic Practice

#1 Post by asdf0987 »

I have been to a number of orthos for consultations. Dr Liu gave me the cheapest quote and was very patient with explaining things.

I have been googling hoping to find a review or some comments from anyone who may have been treated by him, but I haven't had any luck.

Is there anyone on this board who has been treated by him?

When you chose an ortho how do you know if he is good or not? Or does it come down to just having to pay your money and hope for the best!?

Every ortho I have had a consultation with has offered conflicting advice, and it's all a bit scary handing over that amount of money and not really knowing if you are getting the best treatment.

ask about what exactly he is going to treat and how.
ask about the products and techniques he uses.
make sure he is ortho board certified
find out about the prices of different stages of the treatment (and not just to total cost)
find out it it is ok to contact him and how. will he answer e-mails or returns telephone calls?
will it be possible to make additional appointments to just discuss things that worry you
ask him if he can provide refferences from his clients
ask him what is included into the treatment, how long is post-braces observation?
can the price change and under what circumstances.
hope that helps.
