cuticle biting be gone!

#1 Post by VancouverJude »

I have got to say PROPS TO BRACES for keeping me from gnawing on my cuticles. I have suffered from this nasty little habit for far too long.

From day one I just stopped. Didn't even try once. As a result dang my hands are looking good.

I hope there are others of you out there experiencing this bonus side effect.

Yep me too! By the time these braces come off I'll have lovely nails, weigh half as much as I do now and of course have a great smile :D

(I keep reminding myself of all these things each time a new canker sore appears!)

There is a down side. I had to actually go to the store and buy some nail clippers and a nail file! The horror!

I love this part of treatment, I always chewed my nails really badly, and I now have gorgeous long nails.

Had to treat myself to lots of new nail varnish :D

Yes, I used to gnaw the heck out of them and they'd bleed and look awful. I also used to use my teeth for things like cutting thread, or taking tags of clothes. Don't do that anymore, either. Feels to good to break those bad habits.
