I see my ortho on Tuesday so he can fix my pokey wires, will the bracket be ok without a lig until then or should I call them?

I think it should be fine until then. Doesn't hurt to give them a quick call and make sure :)

I know this is a little different but I have a bracket whose door came off and the wire is no longer attached, and they told me a week before my adjustment to just wait until I came in.

Did the bracket door fall off completely, or did it just open up? If it's open, is there a way you can close it? I had a couple of open lower brackets early on, and I asked for permission to close them myself. I was told that if I knew how, I could. If not, to just leave it. Mine just snapped closed pretty easily. I think a week or so to wait is fine, though.

Been having door problems too, it seems like once they open on their own they aren't long for this world. Even if I push it back in, it's loose enough that it will fall off within a couple of days. The clinic has been fixing them with wire ties, but I'm up to 6, not good. I'll be in for a regular appointment soon, so I'm planning to ask if there are other options.

It seems to be completely gone. I'm not sure what happened. I'm guessing they will either be able to replace the door or they'll have to replace the whole bracket.

Keep us updated on what happens with that! It doesn't seem as though my doors are going to give me an easy time on this journey either.

I have a loose wire on a back tooth where the ligature came off and I'm going to wait until my appointment next Wednesday.

Thanks all. I called just to make sure and they said it was fine to wait until my appointment, just thought I'd let you know what they said incase anyone else had the same thing happen.

Over the weekend I had another lig break off, and have noticed that two of my bottom ceramic brackets are chipped where my top teeth keep hitting them :? My ortho is going to love me, I've not quite had them on two weeks! Now I'm a bit concerned he'll give me molar build ups, they don't sound fun.
