Dent and stain from overlapped teeth... Help!!

#1 Post by fishtails »

As my overlapped teeth are getting spaced out, I've noticed a dent and unsightly stain where the teeth used to overlap. It looks I have a huge piece of food stuck in my teeth all the time!

What can I do? Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hi, I have noticed stains with mine too, I am going to my dentist in a couple of weeks, and just hoping a good professional clean will do the trick!!

I'm so relieved that there's a solution!

Does the hygenist at the Orthodontist's office do scaling?

My stain is behind the wire, so I think it should be done when I get my wires changed. I'm afraid a dentist/ortho wouldn't be able to get around the wire otherwise.

i don't think your ortho will do that, but he doesen't have too, you can go to any dentist to do it, it's also cheap and it takes about 10-15 minutes

Had the same thing, a normal dental cleaning will get rid of it. My hygenist goes around the wire when she does my cleaning.
