Wire tie

#1 Post by QT »

Hi I had an adjustment yesterday and had 2 wire ties put on on two different brackets. I noticed today that one of the wire ties is not 'tight' like the other one. It moves if I touch with my finger but not enough to come off the bracket. Should I go back in to get this one tightened around the bracket?? Also should brackets be generally positioned in the centre of each tooth? I forgot to bring it up with my ortho as I have a bracket on a lateral incisor that isn't centred and that tooth is still rotated in compared to its other sibling, its been that way since I got them on but my ortho has never noticed that maybe that tooth still 'isn't positioned correctly'? I'm almost due to be debanded (they wanted to do it last time but I still had issues with my teeth) but that tooth really bugs me. I keep saying to my ortho I don't like the way the tooth is going in still.
