I finally got the nerve to go to the orthodontist for dental records and a consult today. I arranged the banding to be two weeks from now, and then two weeks from then to get four premolars extracted.
I would love to hear any suggestions of what I should I do with my last two weeks of braceless freedom? (Or any pointers to older threads?)
For example, should I...
live it up by eating sticky candy?
enjoy sleeping at night without any appliances in my mouth?
gnaw on pizza?
chomp on caramel apples?
stare tenderly at my soon be missing premolars...? *weeps*
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Last two weeks before getting braces - what should I do?
If I had to do it over again I would spend the 2 weeks before my braces not staring at my teeth in a mirror, because believe me from the day those braces go on you will be spending 2/3's of your day checking if there had been any movement or if anything is stuck in them enjoy the lack of mirror OCD while you can!
And eat lots of chewy things
