The o-chain over my front teeth, which was just placed last week, developed a yellowish tint after eating a sandwich with mustard.

Is there anyway to lift this? It didn't budge with hydrogen peroxide or whitening toothpaste. :(

I think what's done is done now. So the options are either see if your orthodontist will replace them early or just wait it out til your next appointment anew avoid mustard next time!

I agree. Nothing to be done. I didn't eat mustard for 33 months b/c of this.
The yellow may fade a bit with time.

Watch out for turmeric too - it did fade after a week or so but it was not pretty!! ;-)

I have been avoiding curry from restaurants and picallili ever since my nightmare experience!

Thanks for your replies... I guess I'll have to be a little more careful!

Mustard is the WORST! I usually rip my sandwiches/burgers in small pieces and chew them with the back teeth, but my front teeth have not been at all sore lately so I bit into a burger with mustard relish a couple weeks ago. My clear powerchain turned gold! Was so relieved when my next adjustment came.
