Front Teeth

#1 Post by scorr77 »

I've noticed that my front teeth are not aligned as straight as they were before I got braces about 6 wks ago..... I'm not sure why but my left front tooth has moved a lil bit out more than my right front tooth. Has anyone ever had this issue and is this normal?

Don't draw any conclusions about your teeth's movement, especially so earlier into your treatment. Your teeth can, and will, make some movements that might seem alarming but relax. It's nothing abnormal and everything will work out as time goes on. Trust in your orthodontist!

Hi, mine are doing some crazy things at the mo. Looks like my ortho is pushing them together but I trust that in the long run it's all part of the plan!

Don’t worry. They move in all sorts of directions as the forces change but on average over time they converge to the right place.

I second what every one else is saying, I wouldnt worry too much it is still the beginning phases and your teeth with move constantly. I had a freak out when a gap popped up between my 2 front teeth and when my back molars became more really really crooked but over time theyve straightened out again. when i asked my Ortho's assistants, they said not to worry that sometimes your teeth may look a little worse before they start to look better. It was definitely true in my case lol you can check out my blog to see what I mean :paperbag:
